The Mood Board represents the photography set to be created for this event, where you will capture stunning moments with Whitney Nicole Photography while enjoying a specially designed uPick event. Together, we’ll create an unforgettable day filled with blooms, smiles, and snapshots to last a lifetime.

What's Included:

• 15 Hand-Picked Stems: Each ticket allows you to select 15 stems from our diverse array of vibrant flowers. Create your personalized bouquet to take home and cherish.
• Two Professionally Edited Photos: Our on-site photographer, Whitney Nicole Photography, will capture your family moments among the blooms, delivering two professionally edited photos that will be beautiful reminders of your day.
• 45-Minute Session: Spend a relaxing 45 minutes in our fields, where you can pick flowers and enjoy a mini photo session amidst the picturesque setting.
• What's Provided: One basket and one snip are provided per ticket for your uPick session. After you've selected your flowers, your bouquet will be wrapped for you to take home.

It is a unique event designed for children and their families to enjoy the beauty of First Roots Farm while picking their own flowers in a fun, family-friendly environment, having their photo captured, and receiving two professionally edited photos.

This event is ideal for families with children, typically those who enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring nature, and picking flowers together.

4. Do I need to purchase a ticket in advance?

Yes, tickets should be purchased online prior to the event to secure your spot.

5. What does the ticket include?

Each ticket includes 15 stems of flowers and two edited photos from our on-site photographer. If you wish to purchase an additional 15-stem bouquet for your party, you will need to purchase an additional ticket.

6. What should we bring to the event?

It’s recommended to bring:

• Comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor activities
• Sun protection (hats, sunscreen)
• Water to stay hydrated
• Cameras to capture the fun!

7. Are there any age restrictions?

This event is geared toward children and families. There are no specific age restrictions, but parental supervision is required at all times.

There will not be food or refreshments provided at this event, so feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks. Please bring any trash back home with you to help us keep the farm clean.

No, the Flower Bar will not be available at this event. However, you’ll have plenty of beautiful blooms to pick from directly in the fields!

• All children must be supervised by an adult at all times. This is a working farm, and we want to make sure your little ones are safe while exploring the fields and picking flowers.
2. Kunekune Pig Fences:
• Please be aware that our Kunekune pig fences are electrified for safety. Children and adults are not allowed to enter the pig fences. 
3. Farm Environment:
• First Roots Farm is a natural environment with uneven terrain, insects, and potential allergens. Ensure that your children are dressed appropriately for outdoor play, and keep them within designated picking areas for their safety.
4. Respecting the Farm:
• While enjoying the farm, please help teach your children to be gentle with the flowers and respectful of nature. We want everyone to enjoy the beauty of the blooms!
5. Trash-Free Zone:
• Please bring any snacks or drinks you may need, but remember to take all trash home with you. We aim to keep the farm clean and tidy for future visitors.
