Oconomowoc Woman's Club Social + uPick at First Roots Farm

Join us for a relaxing and joy-filled evening at the farm, designed just for the Oconomowoc Woman's Club. This private event is all about slowing down, sharing laughter, and deepening connections with fellow members of your cohort in a beautiful, inspiring setting.

Wander through 1.5 acres of blooming cut flowers, including over 5,000 dahlias, and handpick 15 stems to create your own custom bouquet. Whether you’re drawn to bold colors or soft pastels, the experience is made even more meaningful when shared with a community of women who uplift and inspire.

We’ll provide a basket and snips for each guest during the event, and your flowers will be wrapped for you to take home.

Please note:

• A uPick purchase is not required to attend. However, if you are joining us without participating in the flower picking, please select the "Attending without uPick experience" option when reserving your spot.

• Parking is available in our designated grassy area.

• Restroom facilities (porta-potties) are on-site.

• No pets allowed, and we ask guests to wear comfortable shoes suitable for uneven terrain.

• Look for the First Roots Farm sign at the end of the driveway, directions to our farm are available on Google Maps and Apple Maps.

Tickets are required in advance to keep the experience personal and spacious. We can’t wait to host The Oconomowoc Woman's Club for an afternoon of blooms, connection, and community at First Roots Farm.

FAQ – Oconomowoc Woman's Club social + uPick at First Roots Farm

1. Do I need to purchase a uPick ticket to attend?
No. A uPick purchase is not required to attend. However, if you’re joining us and do not plan to pick flowers, please select the “Attending without uPick experience” option when reserving your spot.

2. What’s included in the uPick experience?
Each uPick ticket includes 15 handpicked flower stems from our fields, a basket and snips to use during your visit, and bouquet wrapping to take your blooms home.

3. Can I buy more than one uPick ticket?
Yes! You’re welcome to purchase additional tickets if you'd like to take home more flowers.

4. Will there be food or drinks?
No — this experience is focused on the uPick flower experience and creating bouquets, and food or drinks will not be provided.

5. What should I wear or bring?
We recommend comfortable shoes suitable for uneven terrain. Sunscreen, a hat, and a water bottle are also good ideas—it is a working farm!

6. Are children allowed?
This is an adults-only event designed for the Oconomowoc Woman's Club community. Please leave little ones at home and enjoy this time for yourself and your cohort.

7. Where do I park?
Parking is available in the grassy area near the pine trees on the farm. Signage will direct you when you arrive.

8. What happens if it rains?
In the event of bad weather, we’ll notify attendees via email with any rescheduling or updates. Be sure to check your inbox the day of the event.

9. Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not permitted at this event for the safety of guests and farm animals.

10. Will we see the pigs?
Yes! Our Kunekune pigs live on the farm and may be visible from a distance during your visit. Please note: for safety reasons, all pig fencing is electrified, and guests are not allowed to enter the pig pens or touch the pigs. Thank you for respecting their space!
