That’s really it.

People show up in sneakers. Kids wander ahead. Friends catch up while cutting flowers. Someone always says, “I didn’t think I’d like this as much as I do.”

And every time, we think: yep, that tracks.

uPick days aren’t about having a plan.

You don’t need to know flower names.
You don’t need to be creative.
You don’t need a reason other than “this sounded nice.”

You grab a pair of snips, wander the field, and start cutting what you love. That’s the whole deal.

Some people take their time. Some people fill their bouquet fast and then go back for more. Kids almost always pick the brightest thing they see. Adults usually overthink it and then laugh about it.

Both are welcome.

There’s something about being out in the flowers that changes the mood right away.

People slow down without trying.
Phones stay in pockets longer.
Conversations get easier.

You don’t have to “do” anything special for it to feel good — the setting kind of takes care of that part.

And honestly, watching that happen over and over again is one of our favorite parts of hosting uPicks.

No two bouquets ever look the same.

Some are wild and colorful.
Some are soft and simple.
Some are… very bold (we love those).

And that’s kind of the point. You’re not trying to make something perfect — you’re just picking what makes you happy in the moment.

Turns out, that usually works out pretty well.

We keep our uPicks small on purpose so it never feels crowded or chaotic. There’s room to wander, space to spread out, and time to enjoy being here.

It’s meant to feel easy. Like you can take a deep breath and stay awhile.

Because when uPick feels good, people come back — and a lot of them do.

Yes, people leave with flowers.

But what we really love is everything that happens before that.

The laughter.
The wandering.
The “should I pick this one?” debates.
The way people linger longer than they planned.

That’s the stuff that sticks.

uPick days bring the farm to life in the best way — and that’s why we’ll always make room for them.

Because sometimes you don’t need a big reason. You just need flowers, fresh air, and a little time to enjoy it.
